Tim Marquart

Tim Marquart is a seasoned legal professional specializing in intellectual property, currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at Gilead Sciences since June 2014, following progressive roles including Associate General Counsel and Corporate Counsel in the same field. Prior experience includes working as Patent Counsel at Nektar Therapeutics from October 2010 to May 2014 and as an Attorney at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner in Palo Alto, California, from 2006 to September 2010. Tim began the career as a Research Associate at CV Therapeutics from 1999 to 2004. Tim holds a J.D., Cum Laude, Order of the Coif from Santa Clara University School of Law and a B.S. in Chemistry, Highest Honors, from The University of Texas at Austin.
