Tim Watson

Tim Watson is an experienced professional in the field of regulatory affairs and chemistry, currently serving as the Head of CMC Regulatory Affairs at Gilead Sciences since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tim held various positions at Pfizer from July 2016 to January 2023, including Executive Director/Team Leader of the GCMC Advisory Office and Senior Director. Tim has contributed significantly to international regulatory frameworks, serving as an expert with multiple ICH working groups from June 2009 to January 2023. Tim's prior experience also includes roles as a Research Fellow and Senior Scientist at Pfizer, and as a Senior Research Scientist at Aventis, as well as earlier positions in research and development at Hoechst Marion Roussel Inc. and Marion Merrell Dow. Tim holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a B.A. in Chemistry from Wittenberg University.
