William Rowe has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having served as Associate Director of Formulation Development at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2013, where responsibilities included leading CMC projects for novel small molecule therapies for cystic fibrosis, notably Kalydeco(tm), and coordinating various functions to streamline product development. Since December 2013, William has held the position of Principal Scientist at Gilead Sciences. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtained in 1996, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Materials Engineering from Rice University, earned in 1992.
