Yang Liu

Yang Liu is a skilled Research Scientist at Gilead Sciences, where they have been advancing their expertise since 2021. Previously, Yang held several positions at Gilead, beginning as an Associate Scientist I in 2010, and later as an Associate Scientist II until 2017, focusing on anti-HBV drug resistance studies. They also worked at Roche Palo Alto as a Senior Research Associate in HCV drug discovery and contributed as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF, characterizing HIV integration sites. Yang earned a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and an MD from Hunan Medical University.
