Steve Reed

Steve Reed is a skilled mechanical designer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Mechanical Designer at Gillespie + Powers, Inc. since January 2023, Steve previously worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer and CAD Manager at Abbott Furnace Company from March 2018 to January 2023. Prior to that, Steve held positions as Design Room Supervisor and Mechanical Designer at The Hilliard Corporation from June 2007 to November 2017, focusing on the design of coalescers, fuel gas separators, and vent mist eliminators. Additionally, Steve served as CAD Administrator at Hilco Engineering, managing Autodesk CAD software and continuing mechanical design work. Earlier experience includes roles as a Drafter at Brodart and a Mechanic at Russ Hanes Tires. Steve holds a degree in Computer Aided Product Design and Engineering from Pennsylvania College of Technology, obtained between 2002 and 2007.
