Our food pays homage to the classics while establishing new favourites – slip into a banquette or take a seat at the bar to enjoy the perfect duck frites or our signature king crab pappardelle.

Here, you’ll find an extensive collection of old-world wines and all your favourite cocktails, while our considered all-day menu focuses on honest but masterfully prepared continental cuisine.

Join us in the heart of Auckland’s historic Chancery Chambers building for a long lunch that turns into dinner, a special celebration, or to unwind with a martini at the bar.

From celebrated restaurateurs Josh and Helen Emett, Gilt combines Josh’s decades of global culinary experience with Helen’s love of Europe to write a new chapter for one of downtown Auckland’s most storied neighbourhoods.
