Eric Larson

Co-Founder at Gimlet

Eric Larson has over 20 years of work experience, beginning with a role as a Bank Teller at Iowa State Bank and Trust Company in 1996. Eric then moved to Camp Fire USA Minnesota Council in 2002, where they held two roles: Data Manager and Operations Coordinator. In 2005, they became a Digital Library Consultant at UW Digital Collections, then a Digital Services Librarian in 2006. In 2013, they began working as a Lead Software Developer and Web Architect and UX Analyst at the University of Minnesota. Finally, in 2009 they co-founded Gimlet, where they currently serve as Co-Founder and oversees the company's finances, customer service, marketing campaign, and UI/UX polish. Eric's clientele include over 660 libraries, archives, and museums from around the globe.

Eric Larson obtained a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Iowa in 2000. In February 2019, they also obtained a certification in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google.
