Kevin Wright

Kevin Wright is the current VP of Continuous Improvement & Industrial Engineering at Ginkgo Bioworks. Kevin has previously worked as the Global Director Operational Excellence & Chief of Staff at Merck from September 2018 to October 2022, and as the Director of Supply Chain and Director of Operational Excellence at Teva Pharmaceuticals from February 2016 to September 2018 and March 2015 to February 2016, respectively. Kevin has also held the position of Associate Director, Operational Excellence - Quality at Teva Pharmaceuticals from September 2013 to March 2015.

Kevin Wright has a MS in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University, an MBA in Business from Liberty University, and a BS in Biology/Chemistry from the University of Lynchburg. Kevin also has a certification from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

They are on a team with Tomer Stavitsky - VP, Corporate Development, Head of M&A, Adithya Yaga - Head of Transformation, and Kevin Madden - SVP, Platform Commercialization. Kevin Wright reports to Jason Kelly, Co-Founder & CEO.
