Jerome Eger has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jerome is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Smile since 2020. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director of Ginmon China starting from 2015. Jerome also worked as a Sales Manager in Lapmaster Wolters GmbH from 2014 to 2015. Before that, Jerome held the position of International Group Development Manager at igus GmbH in China from 2012 to 2014. In 2012, they worked as a Free Consultant for a US Consulting Firm, where they contributed to a data cluster analysis project for a banking client. Jerome's earlier experience includes working at The Boston Consulting Group as a project support member from 2009 to 2011, and as a Student Researcher at investors marketing in 2008-2009.
Jerome Eger obtained their Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics and Sinology from Goethe University between 2007 and 2011. Prior to this, they studied Sinology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2006 and Beijing University in 2005-2006.
