Ralph Bishop is the current Director of Design at Giphy. Before that, they were the Director of Product Development at MTV Networks / Logo from July 2008 to September 2014. Ralph increased user engagement and retention times for the desktop co-viewing live-stream experiences for various events, including the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, the 2013 Hangout Fest, and the 2013 Video Music Awards All Access Live Stream. Ralph also reinvented MTV's music video experience with the launch of mtvmusic.com.

Bishop previously worked as Associate Product Director at Interactive One from June 2005 to December 2008. Ralph created wire frames, set scope, and coordinated designers with front and back end developers to build new products and site features for niche social networks such as BlackPlanet.com, MiGente.com, AsianAve.com, and Glee.com. Ralph also architected new verticals such as Groups, Quizzes, a new Notes interface, and a streamlined member search that helped grow a registered user base to 20 million.

Ralph Bishop has a BFA in Graphic Design from Florida State University, and an Associates in Fine Art from St. Petersburg College.
