Dan Lyons

Dan Lyons is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, systems engineering, and leadership. Currently serving as Principal Member of the R&D Staff at GIRD Systems, Inc. since March 2023, Dan previously held key positions at Cisco as a Principal Engineer and Technical Leader, and founded EverScale Wireless before its acquisition by Cisco. Dan's career also includes significant roles at National Instruments and Keithley Instruments, where leadership and engineering expertise were demonstrated. Dan's military background as a Squad Leader in the Army National Guard adds to a diverse skill set. Dan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
