Girnghuber GmbH, better known as GIMA, continues a long tradition in the production of clay materials.
When asked for a snappy short description of the company, Claus Girnghuber expressed himself very concisely: “What makes us different is the breadth of the range. We are the only manufacturer that makes almost all ceramic building materials. And apart from tradition and experience, which, of course, a lot of people in the industry possess, we offer maximum variety combined with a great readiness to innovate. We like being the first to do things and are committed to catering to customers’ wishes.”

With our quality products, we are not only an important supplier for our region but also impress our customers internationally with customised solutions and innovative approaches. In numerous projects like the extension of the Tate Modern in London, the Musée Unterlinden in Colmar or the restoration of the cathedral in Munich GIMA convinces with a huge desire for innovation and a high degree in individualization.

Our product range includes clinker, hand-made bricks, clinker pavers, floor tiles and the innovative CERPIANO+ patio system. Besides a huge asortment of standard colours and forms we produce special project related colours and tiles. In our own laboratory we always develop the perfect colour with a lot of passion to fullfill each request the best way.
