Girthy Garden Games was formed in 2025 by Jack Kirk and Dave Woodhouse, who first met while working together. They shared a passion for gaming and a desire to create. Dreams quickly grew into a partnership; Dave providing backend development, Jack bringing frontend and design.

They both understood that even the best ideas need great art to reach their full potential. Jack recruited his wife Gemma, completing the dream team. The goal to build amazing experiences is realised by the team's first game, Dorsal Shores, which is launching soon on Android and iOS.
