Simon Edwards

Simon Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Simon is currently the Commercial Director at Global Inkjet Systems Ltd (GIS) since 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Garmin Watch App Developer at Simon Edwards Consulting in 2017. Simon also served as a Product Champion at Nano Dimension from 2022 to 2023.

Simon has a strong background in business development and software sales, as evidenced by their roles at Global Inkjet Systems Ltd (GIS). Simon worked as a Business Manager - Software from 2021 to 2022, handling sales for GIS software products. Additionally, they were a Product Manager from 2018 to 2021, where they managed the development and implementation of software and electronics products for digital printing.

Simon managed a budget of $12 million USD and led a team of over 120 staff across multiple countries. Simon played a key role in commercializing numerous new products and technologies throughout their tenure at SOLA International.

Simon Edwards attended the University of Adelaide from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a BSc (HON) degree in Astrophysics, Physics, and Mathematics.
