Sandra Döring

Sandra D. Austin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in production planning and inventory control. Currently serving as PROD PLNG AND SCHED 2 at Newport News Shipbuilding since April 2018, Sandra previously held the position of Senior Production and Inventory Control Planner at Pregis Innovative Packaging for over two decades, where a commitment to team collaboration and staff input fostered productive working relationships. Earlier career roles include Production Planner at NAMIC, where production reports were created and assembly area planning managed, and Senior Production Planner at CR Bard, focusing on production updates in compliance with FDA regulations. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from the State University of New York at Oneonta and has furthered communication skills through training with the American Management Association.
