Rushan Wang is currently a Doctoral Student at Eidg. Forschungsanstalt WSL, engaged in advanced research since December 2023. With a background in Geomatics from ETH Zürich, where a Master's degree was obtained in 2023, and a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Wuhan University, Rushan has developed expertise in historical map data processing, deep learning, and QGIS plugin programming through roles as a co-assistant at GISphere since June 2021 and as a Student Assistant at ETH Zürich from April 2022 to December 2023. Additional education includes a brief study in Geology at the University of St Andrews in 2019.
