Yanbing Chen

Yanbing Chen currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and as the GISphere Guide Team Leader at GISphere, where oversight of content management for a comprehensive resource benefiting GIS professionals and students is a primary responsibility. Prior experience includes work as a Research Assistant at McGill University's Roger Tomlinson Lab for GIScience and as a Geographic Information System Assistant at the Geographic Information Center, focusing on workshop facilitation and support for ESRI products. Yanbing Chen's earlier roles also included internships in finance and operations and a position as a Business Analyst at Greenwoods Asset Management. Yanbing Chen holds a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Geography and Economics from McGill University and is pursuing a Master's degree and Ph.D. in Geographic Information Science and Cartography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
