In today’s digital age, in-person connection often feels inefficient and overwhelming. Traditional networking is plagued by awkward approaches, shallow exchanges, and difficulty finding people who share specific passions—whether hiking, longevity, or favorite TV shows. Gist exists to solve this by making every interaction intentional, relevant, and frictionless.

Our Vision & Mission
We envision a world where every niche finds its tribe and every interaction counts. Gist empowers individuals and hosts through our app that transforms networking into structured, meaningful, topic-driven conversations. Our mission is to engineer serendipity and remove social friction by providing clarity, intentionality, and tools to turn first meetings into lasting relationships.

How It Works

Attendees: No app download—join via link/QR. The platform matches participants by niche topics, guides them through timed one-on-one conversations, reduces social anxiety, and (future) supports seamless in-event ordering. Post-event, users can capture notes and manage follow-ups in the "Connection Hub."

Hosts: Gist handles complex matching and event flow, enabling restaurants, venues, and organizers to host targeted community events. Future ordering integration boosts revenue while enhancing the attendee experience.

The Gist Difference
Unlike generic networking tools or random matching, Gist ensures every connection is rooted in shared interests, eliminating cold-start anxiety and creating reciprocal, high-quality interactions. With AI-driven enhancements and premium tailored matching on the horizon, Gist is designed to maximize both efficiency and enjoyment.

Who We Empower
Newcomers to cities, niche community seekers, professionals, restaurants, and community builders all benefit from structured, interest-driven events that spark authentic relationships.
