Petros Amiridis

Petros Amiridis is the current Head of Support at Gitbook. Petros has over 20 years of experience in the software development industry. Petros was previously the Co-Founder & CEO of HeavyMelon, a company that built Supportress, a simple helpdesk based on their 9 year experience working at GitHub Support. Petros has also taught the Engineering Internet Applications MSc module as a parttime lecturer at The University of Sheffield International Faculty, CITY College. Amiridis has also worked as a Principal Engineer at GitHub for almost 10 years where they were responsible for supporting GitHub Jobs. Petros is also the founder of Amignosis and the owner / freelancer of Amiridis.

Petros Amiridis has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from City College of Thessaloniki.

Their manager is Samy Pessé, Co-Founder. Petros Amiridis works with Adrien Nhem - Head of Sales & Customer Success, Rémi Gonnu - Head of Data, and Sara Tandowsky - COO.
