Aurélien Gâteau

Aurélien Gâteau has extensive experience as a software engineer and developer. Aurélien is currently working at GitGuardian as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Genymobile, where they served as the product owner and lead developer of Genymotion Desktop. Aurélien has also worked as a freelance software engineer at agateau and as a KDE Engineer at Blue Systems. Aurélien has a strong background in Qt and KDE development, having served as a Qt and KDE Engineer at Canonical Ltd. and as a software engineer at Open Wide. Aurélien has also worked on various projects including maintaining Gwenview, the KDE image viewer, and developing custom systems for dental practitioners. In addition, Aurélien has experience in web development and Unix instruction from their time at Linagora. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a commitment to improving user experience and usability in software applications.

From 1994 to 1999, Aurélien Gâteau studied at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. During this period, they earned their degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Software Development and Electronics.
