Dwayne McDaniel

Dwayne McDaniel has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dwayne is currently working as a Developer Advocate at GitGuardian, where they help developers and teams utilize the code security platform for the DevOps generation. Prior to that, Dwayne founded Process Digital Consulting, a company that assists organizations in optimizing workflows and streamlining processes.

Dwayne has also worked as a Developer Advocate and Evangelist at GitKraken, where they played a crucial role in spreading awareness and advocating for the GitKraken community. Dwayne organized and spoke at industry events, created technical digital content, and nurtured the community of users and ambassadors.

Before that, they served as a Developer Advocate at Stackbit, the first open and complete platform for the Jamstack. In this role, they contributed to making the modern architecture easily accessible for developers, content creators, marketers, and designers.

Dwayne's experience also includes working as a Developer Advocate at Pantheon Platform, where they achieved significant milestones such as increasing user engagement, scaling the Developer Relations team, and driving retention. Dwayne represented Pantheon at various marketing events and created content in the form of blog posts, videos, documentation, and community sessions.

Additionally, Dwayne has experience as an Event Manager at One Brick and as the Founder and Technical Director of SFImprovCalendar.com, an open-source project focused on improv shows in the Bay Area.

Earlier in their career, Dwayne worked as a Business Development Director at Sophia, where they developed relationships with target industries and companies. Dwayne also played a role as an Inside Sales Representative at BonitaSoft and Trulia, focusing on sales and agent specialization.

Throughout their career, Dwayne has consistently demonstrated their ability to adapt to changing environments, excel in leadership roles, and contribute to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Dwayne McDaniel pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University, completing their studies from 1996 to 2001.
