Admas Kanyagia is an accomplished leader in diversity, inclusion, and social impact, currently serving as the Head of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at GitHub since November 2024. Previously, Kanyagia held the position of VP of Social Impact at DigitalOcean from September 2021 to April 2024, and served as the Head of Social Impact at GitHub from February 2018 to August 2021. Kanyagia's career also includes a tenure as the Director of Collective Impact, Strategic Philanthropy, and Shared Value at FSG from May 2013 to February 2018, and as a Manager in the Public Sector & Nonprofit Practice at Accenture between August 2008 and December 2012. Admas Kanyagia holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in International Relations and Latin American Studies from Stanford University and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
