Alex Bryant

Alex Bryant is a Senior Software Engineer at GitHub since August 2022, focusing on building infrastructure tools for host lifecycle and configuration management across various compute environments. Previously, Alex worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from March 2019 to August 2022 as a Systems Development Engineer for EC2 Edge, designing and building tooling for automatic host lifecycle management and also served as a Senior Consultant in DevOps. Prior to AWS, Alex was a Senior Platform Reliability Engineer at Pivotal Software, Inc., providing architecture solutions for cloud deployments, and held the position of Principal Solutions Architect at Raytheon, leading architecture and operations for cloud solutions. Alex's career began as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities included architecting infrastructure components and implementing infrastructure as code, significantly reducing deployment times. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Baptist Bible College, awarded in 2011.
