Andrew Mildahl is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in release engineering, developer experience, and CI/CD processes. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at GitHub since May 2021, Andrew has focused on automating release engineering and enhancing developer tools for GHES releases. Previously, Andrew held significant roles in leading software engineering teams at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Cray Inc., contributing to Kernel/OS teams and developing comprehensive CI/CD pipelines. A solid background in system software and application development is further complemented by earlier roles in various companies, including Oracle and SGI. Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
