Aric Walker

Aric Walker is an experienced software engineering professional with a robust career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at GitHub since October 2017, Aric has progressed through various managerial and engineering roles within the company. Prior to GitHub, Aric was Principal at Elevated IO, LLC, and held the position of Senior Software Architect at LIKE A PRO. Aric's earlier experience includes significant roles at Closely, Inc. and Truespire Inc., where Aric co-founded the latter and managed web application development. Additionally, Aric worked as an Implementation Consultant at Fast Enterprises, focusing on software development for state revenue systems. Aric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Montana State University-Bozeman, completed in 2008.
