Austin Dever

Austin Dever is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber threat intelligence, currently serving as the Staff Manager for Red Team and Threat Intelligence at GitHub since 2024. Previously, they held the position of Principal Threat Researcher at Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 from 2023 to 2024 and worked as a Security Consultant at Coalfire in 2018-2019. Austin also contributed as a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at LinkedIn in 2019. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Harvard University in 2004. Prior to these roles, Austin gained valuable experience in various capacities at a confidential organization from 2005 to 2015.
