Balwinder Sohi

Balwinder Sohi is a seasoned software performance engineer with extensive experience in benchmarking and performance testing across various domains. Since October 2017, Balwinder has held the position of Software Alchemist at GitHub. Prior to this, Balwinder served as Principal Software Performance Engineer at Comcast Silicon Valley Innovation Center, where performance tests were executed to identify potential bottlenecks. At EMC (Data Domain Division), from October 2011 to April 2015, Balwinder focused on benchmarking de-duplication backup software and troubleshooting scaling issues. Earlier, Balwinder worked as Principal Performance Engineer at Openwave Systems Inc., analyzing carrier-grade mobile and messaging applications.
