Basil S.

Basil S. is an accomplished Executive Producer with extensive experience in film and content production, currently serving at GitHub since September 2021. With a freelance career starting in 2003, Basil has produced, executive produced, written, and contributed as camera and crew member on various award-winning films, including Academy Award nominated and Emmy winning projects. Prior positions include Head of Content at Rational from 2014 to 2021, where Basil led a team in producing diverse media content for top global brands, and Producer at Weber Shandwick, noted for creating Live@Sundance. Education includes a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University Seattle and a Bachelor's in Communication and Media Studies from The Evergreen State College. Basil is a member of the Producer's Guild of America.
