Brian McManus

Brian McManus is a seasoned software engineer with a diverse background in technology leadership and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at GitHub since May 2020, Brian previously held significant roles at TextUs™ as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer, and at Checkmate.io as Chief Technology Officer, where the focus was on enhancing business communications. Brian's career includes founding and serving as CEO of Launchly, a startup aimed at supporting fledgling businesses, along with engineering positions at Trazzler and IBM, where skills ranged from full-stack development to complex project management. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer & Information Sciences from the University of Florida.
