Cassidy Williams

Cassidy Williams is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Developer Advocacy at GitHub, starting in September 2024. As a co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Cosynd, Inc. since February 2016, Cassidy has focused on simplifying legal ownership for creators. Additional roles include Advisor and Coach at The Sukha Company and Convex, Advisor at Chainlink Labs, and Technical Lead for a stealth startup. Cassidy also contributed as a Contributing Writer and Podcast Host at Stack Overflow and held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Contenda until June 2024. Prior experience includes a Director of Developer Experience and Principal Developer Experience Engineer at Netlify. Cassidy holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and a minor in Spanish from Universidad de Extremadura.
