Christopher Schleiden

Christopher Schleiden is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at GitHub since October 2019, focusing on designing and building software using Go, Ruby/Rails, and TypeScript. Prior to this role, Christopher held various positions at Microsoft from October 2011 to September 2019, including Principal Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included leading a team for Azure Boards and developing custom applications. As a cofounder of SchleidenHenrich GbR, Christopher provided individual software development for small to medium-sized companies. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Student Partner at Microsoft Germany and an internship as a Software Engineer at Microsoft's Search Technology Centre in London. Christopher holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University.
