Damien Butler

Damien Butler is a GitHub Premium Support Engineer, currently enhancing customer relations and technical support at Microsoft since November 2024, while also serving as Premium Support Engineer III at GitHub since May 2021. With extensive experience at Esri Ireland from May 2014 to May 2021, Damien held the positions of Technical Lead, Senior Consultant, and Consultant, focusing on utility and government accounts and managing large support teams. Previous roles include a variety of technical positions ranging from 3D Developer, Web Developer to Technical Officer, demonstrating a strong foundation in project management and geocomputation. Damien holds a Master of Science degree in Geocomputation and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Maynooth University.
