Daniel Dunn

Daniel Dunn is a Software Engineer III at GitHub, currently working on the Secret Scanning team where they leverage tools and languages such as Golang and Ruby on Rails. Daniel holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, where their research included cyber security and machine learning. Previously, Daniel has held positions as a Full Stack Developer at Booz Allen Hamilton and as a Student Researcher at the Center for High Assurance Computation, focusing on malware analysis and IoT pentesting. Additionally, Daniel has developed high-performance computing software for the Center for Geospatial Intelligence and contributed significantly to the development of Push Protection at GitHub.
