Emily Bergen

Emily Bergen is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in employee relations and global operations. Currently serving as a Senior HR Business Partner at GitHub since May 2018, Emily manages HR operations and a global benefits program for over 1,000 employees across 15 countries. Prior to GitHub, Emily held various positions at TaskRabbit, including Head of People Operations, where leadership encompassed an 80+ person organization across multiple major cities. Emily's background also includes roles in event coordination and administrative support with organizations such as Obama for America and the University of California, Berkeley. Emily holds a B.A. in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an Intermediate Certificate with Honors from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
