Eric Banta

Eric Banta is a Senior Applied ML Researcher at GitHub, where work focuses on GitHub Copilot since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer at the Automobile Club of Southern California from January 2020 to July 2021, and as a Data Scientist II and Data Scientist at ERI Economic Research Institute from February 2019 to January 2020. Additionally, Eric served as a Data Analyst at Northrop Grumman from July 2018 to February 2019 and began a career as a Business Management Analyst. Eric holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Information Systems from California State University, Fullerton.
