Fredrik Skogman

Fredrik Skogman is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and system architecture. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at GitHub since March 2022, Fredrik specializes in supply chain security for GitHub products and the open-source ecosystem. Prior to this role, Fredrik held the position of Principal Architect at SolarWinds, where the focus was on building distributed, resilient high-availability systems. Fredrik's previous experiences include serving as the Technical Lead Programmer at Pingdom, where responsibilities included the architecture and implementation of backend systems, and a role in research and development at LS Entertainment AB, concentrating on server-side systems for online gaming. Fredrik began a career as a Software Engineer at HiQ Mälardalen AB, involved in modeling and simulation for embedded real-time systems, and commenced professional studies with a thesis at SAAB Aerosystems AB. Fredrik holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Linköping University.
