Garrett Wood

Garrett Wood is an experienced professional in the startup ecosystem, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Startup Programs at GitHub since June 2021, where a globally distributed team is led to empower founders in scaling their ventures. With a proven track record, Garrett previously held the Manager role in Startup Programs at Google, focusing on global partnerships with accelerators and venture funds. Prior experience includes leadership positions at American Underground, where strategic initiatives and community partnerships were developed, as well as early career roles in business development and program coordination. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Marketing from North Carolina State University and an Associate of Arts from Wake Technical Community College.
