Gemma Garriga

Gemma Garriga is an accomplished professional in the applied AI space, currently serving as the VP of Engineering at GitHub. They held prominent roles as Director of Applied AI at Google and Chief Digital Officer at Allianz Trade, where they drove innovation and digital transformation. Gemma's earlier experiences include tenured positions at INRIA and Helsinki Institute for Information Technology, focusing on machine learning research, as well as being a Fellow at Deeptech Labs, supporting entrepreneurs in their ventures. They are pursuing an Executive MBA and a PhD in Machine Learning from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
