Ian Manter

Ian Manter is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in enterprise sales and account management. Currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Sales for the West Region at GitHub since January 2019, Ian collaborates with innovative organizations and technology to leverage community and open source solutions. Prior to GitHub, Ian worked at Pivotal Software, Inc. from March 2013 to January 2019, first as an Account Representative and then as an Enterprise Sales Manager, specializing in agile development and complex software solutions. Ian's career also includes roles at Greenplum as a Market Strategy Analyst and at Saint-Gobain as a National Accounts Manager and Account Manager. Ian holds an MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University, along with a Certificate of Study in Account Executive Sales Management Training from SaaSy.
