Jaclyn E. Jiménez de Vries

Jaclyn E. Jiménez de Vries is a Senior Software Engineer at GitHub since April 2020. Previously, Jaclyn worked at Meetup from July 2017 to April 2020 as a Staff Full Stack Engineer, leading a significant project to migrate the web application infrastructure from GCP to AWS. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Sportsrocket, where Jaclyn advanced from Software Engineer to Lead Engineer and eventually to Director of Engineering while developing a digital video content management tool. Jaclyn also acted as Program Coordinator at CodeNow, promoting programming education for underrepresented high school students, and worked as Coordinator for Kids Club THIRTEEN at WNET New York Public Media. Jaclyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media from Temple University and a Web Development Immersive certificate from General Assembly.
