Jakub Oleksy

Jakub Oleksy is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at GitHub since July 2020, Jakub previously held several significant positions at Microsoft from April 2003 to July 2020, including General Manager and Director of Engineering. At Microsoft, Jakub managed a team of over 100 full-time employees and more than 40 vendors, responsible for shipping AppCenter. Jakub holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UCLA, completed in 2003.
