Jessica Deen

Jessica Deen is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in developer advocacy and cloud technologies. Currently serving as Staff Developer Advocate at GitHub since April 2024, Jessica previously held the position of Principal Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from August 2022 to April 2024. Jessica's background at Microsoft spans from March 2016 to July 2022, where roles included Principal Cloud Advocate and Technical Evangelist. Earlier career experiences include a Systems Integration Engineer at SPK and Associates LLC, and various social media engagement and technology specialist roles at Microsoft and ClickAway. Jessica has a strong foundation in scripting, web deployment, and IT support, complemented by entrepreneurial experience through Jessica Deen Consulting. Educational achievements include studies at Gavilan College and a high school diploma from Westmont High School.
