Jiaqi Liu

Jiaqi Liu is the Director of Engineering at GitHub, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as a Staff Engineering Manager at GitHub and led software engineering efforts at the University of Chicago, where they managed teams focused on biomedical data solutions. Jiaqi’s extensive experience includes roles at Capital One as a Senior Data Scientist and at Button, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead. They are currently pursuing education at Columbia University in the City of New York.
