Jovel Crisostomo is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as a Staff Engineering Manager at GitHub since September 2019, Jovel oversees the Dependency Graph team, focusing on securing code by mapping dependencies and detecting vulnerabilities, as well as previously managing the Apps team for programmatic access to GitHub. Prior experience includes a Principal Engineer role at Twilio Inc., where Jovel developed a next-gen API Gateway and served as a Sr. Software Engineer at SendGrid, contributing to various projects using multiple programming languages.
