Kayla Reiman

Kayla Reiman is a Privacy Analyst at GitHub since October 2023, with previous experience as a Privacy Engineering Consultant at Twitch from June 2022 to June 2023, where involvement included data subject access requests and privacy assessments. Kayla served as a Teaching Assistant for Engineering Privacy in Software at Carnegie Mellon University in early 2022, helping students engage with privacy engineering concepts. Earlier internships were completed at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon, focusing on mobile privacy and security under Professor Jason Hong, and at MDRC as a Technical Research Analyst and Assistant from 2016 to 2019. Kayla's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Technology - Privacy Engineering and a Master of Science in Public Policy & Management with a Data Analytics Track, both from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University.
