Kyle John Schmidt

Kyle John Schmidt is a writer and instructional designer with a diverse background in theater and educational content creation. They are currently a Senior Learning Content Design Manager at GitHub and have been self-employed as an award-winning playwright since 2004, with productions across the United States. Kyle has held various roles in instructional design, including positions at Simply Interactive, Intertek Alchemy, and SweetRush Inc., where they designed engaging training programs for various industries. They earned a B.A. in Theatre from Grinnell College and an MFA in Creative Writing from the Michener Center for Writers at UT Austin.
