Matt Nigh

Matt Nigh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical business operations and management. Currently serving as Staff Technical Business Operations Manager and Acting Chief of Staff at GitHub since March 2022, Matt provides strategic support to the SVP of Engineering, Jakub Oleksy, and has been promoted multiple times due to significant contributions. Prior to this, Matt held key roles at UW Medicine, including Data Engineering Manager, where oversight of a large development team and critical data management systems was paramount. Matt also served as President and VP of Operations at Vanick Digital, leading a software development practice and managing business operations. Additional experience includes project management roles at Franklin American Mortgage Company and Consensus Point, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
