Omar Quimbaya

Leonardo Quimbaya is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in field security and solutions engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Field Security Specialist at GitHub since February 2023, Leonardo focuses on supporting the sales and implementation of GitHub Advanced Security. Prior roles include Senior Field Solutions Specialist and Senior Solutions Engineer at Snyk, where efforts were directed at product development and customer engagement. Additionally, Leonardo founded and presided over CyberDEF Dojo, promoting security education in the San Antonio community. Other notable positions include Threat Hunter Analyst at Cisco and Channel Security Engineer at Tenable, along with various roles in software development and technical evangelism.
