Peter Loveland

Peter Loveland is a Senior Product Designer at GitHub since January 2022, previously holding multiple roles at IBM from August 2015 to January 2022, including UI/UX Designer with a focus on IBM Automation, IBM Event Streams, and IBM IoT Platform. At IBM, Peter contributed significantly to the design and development of user interfaces, including leading the UI design for IBM’s Kafka offering and overhauling the UI for the IoT Platform. Additionally, Peter served as an Industry Lecturer at the University of Reading in 2018 and 2019, where course content was adapted based on feedback and collaboration with colleagues. Peter earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Communication and Typography from the University of Reading from 2012 to 2015.
