Rahul Zhade

Rahul Zhade is a Senior Product Security Engineer at GitHub, with a focus on improving product security for the Copilot product suite and streamlining security processes. With experience in developing internal application security standards for Golang, JavaScript, and AI applications, Rahul has successfully reduced review timelines and increased the efficiency of security requirement generation. Prior roles at GitHub included Application Security Engineer and various positions as a contractor and intern, where significant contributions were made in vulnerability management, threat modeling, and managing the Bug Bounty program. Additionally, Rahul has internship experience at Datacoral Inc. and has served as a Camp Instructor, teaching coding to K-12 students. A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Rahul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
